
Seraphim hires Rombaut as general partner
London-based space technology venture capital investor Seraphim Capital has hired Frédéric Rombaut as general partner.
In his new role at Seraphim, Rombaut will support fundraising efforts as the VC firm plans to launch a new global vehicle to invest in the space sector.
Prior to joining, Rombaut was managing director at Cisco Investment International and also a founder of Qualcomm Ventures Europe.
He started his career with an IBM startup, before launching the Bouygues group's corporate development arm, where he co-founded network operator Bouygues Telecom.
Seraphim recently appointed Matt O'Connell as partner. In his previous role, he was the founder and former CEO of GeoEye and former CEO of OneWeb.
