BC's Bott to retire
BC Partners managing partner and head of investor relations Charlie Bott will retire in September.
[Editor's note: BC Partners owns a majority stake in Acuris, the parent company of Unquote].
Bott joined the GP from Goldman Sachs in 2009 and most recently oversaw the raise of BC European Capital X, a €7bn buyout fund that closed on its target in January 2018 after two years on the road.
Laurent de Rosiere and Richard Kunzer will take joint responsibility for the firm's investor relations activities after his departure. Bott will remain in his role until the GP's annual investor conference in September.
The GP's latest fund attracted commitments from more than 130 LPs, has made eight investments to date (including six in Europe) and was already 30% invested by the time of the final close. More details on the fund and its LPs are available on the vehicle's Unquote Data profile.
