Livingbridge appoints Kahn as vice-president in Boston

Livingbridge has appointed Ability Network's vice-president of corporate development, Curt Kahn, as vice-president in its US office.
The development comes six months after the GP opened its office in Boston to support its portfolio companies' expansion plans in the US market. According to a statement, around a quarter of Livingbridge's portfolio currently has operations or clients in the US market.
Kahn will work alongside Livingbridge US principal Rebecca Hooley, who moved to the US after two years working in Livingbridge's London office.
Kahn leaves Summit Partners- and Bain Capital Ventures-backed healthcare technology company Ability after three and a half years with the business. During his time at Ability he oversaw the company's M&A activity, leading eight bolt-on acquisitions.
Prior to joining Ability, Kahn spent six years at PwC, leaving his role as engagement manager in 2014. He also spent one year working as a strategy consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton before joining PwC.
