Bowmark promotes Masters and Mastrodonato, hires Lyceum's Keen
Bowmark Capital has promoted senior partner Julian Masters to managing partner and made two additional appointments in its London team.
Origination director Luca Mastrodonato has been promoted to the role of business development director, while Lyceum Capital investment manager Tom Keen has been appointed as investment manager.
Masters joined Bowmark in 2008, leaving his role as director at European Capital after two years with the firm. He is a member of the Bowmark investment committee and the senior management committee. He sits on the boards of portfolio companies Aston Lark, Nexus and Iprism.
Keen leaves his role as investment manager at Lyceum after two and a half years with the firm. Prior to joining Lyceum, he spent four years at CIL Management Consultants, where he provided commercial due diligence to private equity and corporate clients.
Mastrodonato joined Bowmark in 2011, leaving his role as associate director in the strategic analysis team after almost four years with the firm. In his new role, he will oversee business development, origination and marketing activities at Bowmark. Mastrodonato has primarily been responsible for sourcing investment opportunities in business and financial services, education, media and technology during his time at Bowmark.
Bowmark is currently deploying capital from its fifth fund, a £375m vehicle that held its final close in January 2014 after just 10 weeks on the road.
