
Rutland boosts deal team with two hires

Special situations investor Rutland Partners has hired Will Southgate as investment manager and Gessica Howarth as investment executive for its deal team.
Southgate joins Rutland from PwC, where he qualified as a chartered accountant in 2012. Prior to that, he spent five years in the company's corporate finance team, advising on a range of buy-side and sell-side transactions primarily in the business services sector.
Meanwhile, Howarth joins from Goldman Sachs, where she worked in the investment banking division, focusing on financial institutions M&A. She also worked as a junior portfolio manager in the investment management division for the firm's multi-asset investment team.
