Apposite promotes Auffray and Meynier

Apposite Capital has promoted Valerie Auffray to head of investor relations and operations, and Anne-Laure Meynier to investment director.
Auffray is promoted from her role as investor relations manager after 10 years with the firm. In her new position, she will oversee fundraising, investor relations, funds reporting, marketing and operations.
The news coincides with the announcement that the GP has raised £144.5m for Apposite Healthcare Fund II, which looks to invest £10-20m across an investment lifespan for majority stakes in healthcare companies across the UK and continental Europe.
Prior to joining Apposite, Auffray spent four years at Citigate Dewe Rogerson, leaving her position as associate director in December 2007.
Meynier is promoted from her role as investment manager, after almost three years with the GP. She currently serves as a director of NIMGenetics and is an observer on the board at Swanton Care & Community. In her new role, she will be involved in all stages of the investment process, including origination, execution and investment management.
Before joining Apposite, Meynier spent a year and a half as corporate finance director at Nuage Labs; a year and a half as an executive at Bridgepoint; and three and a half years at Rothschild, where she left her role as associate in December 2012.
