AGIC hires former Equistone partner Breuning to lead UK office

AGIC Capital has appointed former Equistone partner Sam Breuning as partner and head of its newly opened UK office.
Breuning will be responsible for all of AGIC's UK investment activities and future fundraising. The firm said a stronger UK presence will enable it to access new investment opportunities and a wider international investor base.
Prior to joining AGIC, Breuning worked at pan-European mid-market GP Equistone Partners for 11 years, before taking a one-year career break.
AGIC closed its Asia-Germany Industrial Promotion Capital I fund on $1bn in February 2017; the vehicle is already more than 50% invested.
