Epiris promotes Wilson and Wood to partner
Epiris has promoted investment partners Owen Wilson and Ian Wood to partners and members of the investment and management committees.
Wilson joined Epiris in 2013, leaving his role as principal at Palamon Capital Partners, and has worked on investments including Innovia, Retirement Bridge Group and Portals. Prior to his four-year stint at Palamon, he spent four and a half years at Candover and six and a half years at Bain & Company.
Wood has been with the GP since 2012, when he left his role as principal at Greenhill Capital Partners, and has worked on investments including Elian, Hollywood Bowl, Audiotonix, TI Media and The Club Company. Before spending two years at Greenhill, he worked at Silverfleet Capital for six years, Deloitte for two years and Arthur Andersen for one year.
Epiris launched its first vehicle as an independent fund manager, Epiris Fund II, in March 2017 with a £1bn target, of which it had reportedly reached around half by May 2017. The vehicle invests £40-150m in companies with enterprise values of £75-500m.
