Rede hires former AlpInvest head of secondaries
Michael Camacho, the former head of Asia-Pacific secondaries at AlpInvest, will join Rede Partners in July in a new role focusing on Europe.
Camacho will work in the role of principal in the Rede secondaries team led by Yaron Zafir.
Prior to joining, Camacho worked on US secondary investment for AlpInvest in New York from 2007. He was subsequently head of Asia-Pacific secondaries at AlpInvest from 2013-2016, based in Hong Kong. Most recently he was working in the role of principal in the firm's European secondary investments team in Amsterdam before leaving in March 2017.
