Inflexion appoints three new investment partners
Inflexion Private Equity has appointed Irina Hemmers, Malcolm Coffin and Josh Kaufman as investment partners.
In her new role, Hemmers will lead the TMT team, which has recently worked on several deals including On The Beach, FDM and Reward Gateway.
Hemmers started her career at McKinsey & Company before joining Apax as a partner in the media team where she spent 13 years working on digital investments. More recently, she became partner and head of principal investing at Eight Roads, the proprietary investing arm of Fidelity International.
Coffin is based in Inflexion's Manchester office, where he primarily focuses on the industrial and energy sectors. Since joining Inflexion in 2007, Coffin has been involved in numerous transactions including the recent exit from UK Power Reserve, and investments in Bollington Wilson Group and Calco.
Kaufman primarily focuses on minority investing; his responsibilities include evaluating and executing transactions, as well as originating new opportunities. He co-led investments in Radius Payment Solutions, K2 Partnering Solutions and Outdoor Plus.
Coffin and Kaufman are both also responsible for leading Inflexion's activity in the Benelux region where Inflexion recently invested in Calco.
