Epiris appoints Brent as investment manager

Epiris has appointed Pamela Brent, formerly a solicitor at Linklaters and Bridgepoint Capital, as investment manager.
Brent recently completed an MBA at Insead and left her role as associate solicitor at Linklaters in 2017 after four years with the firm. She had also previously undertaken a two-year stint as a trainee solicitor at the law firm, leaving that role in September 2012 and subsequently spending eight months as an in-house legal secondee at Bridgepoint.
The development comes shortly after Epiris promoted investment partners Owen Wilson and Ian Wood to partners and members of the investment and management committees.
Epiris launched its first vehicle as an independent fund manager, Epiris Fund II, in March 2017 with a £1bn target, of which it had reportedly reached around half by May 2017. The vehicle invests £40-150m in companies with enterprise values of £75-500m.
