
Livingbridge appoints Wathen

Private equity firm Livingbridge has appointed Laura Wathen as associate director.
Prior to joining, Wathen worked at Pentland Group as investment manager since 2014 where she grew the company's venture investment portfolio. She has worked as a board observer for Heidi Klein, Butterfly Twists and Acme FG, as well as an internal adviser to the senior executive team of Pentland Brands.
Previously, Wathen ran her own consultancy as a strategic business adviser to SMEs in retail, fashion and leisure on fundraising and growth strategies, as well as being the finance director to Italian luxury shoe brand Aquazzura.
Following a raft of hires, the investment team at Livingbridge has now expanded to 90 people.
