LDC promotes Smith to investment director
UK midmarket private equity investor LDC has promoted Dan Smith to investment director.
Since joining the private equity house in August 2015, Smith has been involved in a number of transactions in the region.
Smith worked on LDC’s £31.8m investment in NBS, the commercial arm of the Royal Institute of British Architects, in June 2018, as well as the management buyouts of Skipton-headquartered Sigmat and Knaresborough-based Pelsis.
Smith began his career at KPMG where he spent 10 years working in corporate finance, during which time he advised on buy-side and sell- side M&A transactions across a range of sectors including TMT, healthcare and support services.
