
Debevoise hires Kirkland's Dickman

Debevoise & Plimpton has hired former Kirkland & Ellis partner Matthew Dickman as international counsel in its funds and investment management group in London.
Dickman will be responsible for fund formation, management and reorganisation advice. He specialises on the sale of GP stakes, according to a statement.
Prior to joining Debevoise, Dickman was partner at Kirkland & Ellis in San Francisco, where he worked since 2014. Prior to this he was an associate at Debevoise in London.
Debevoise has advised sponsors of, or investors in, more than 2,100 private investment funds with committed capital of more than $2.7tn, according to a statement. It has recently advised on the formation of Exponent Private Equity Partners IV and MCP Private Capital Fund III, in the UK, according to Unquote Data.
