
Arma appoints new partner, and managing director
Corporate finance house Arma Partners has appointed Jeremie Sokolowsky as partner and Bruno NehmУЉ as managing director.
Both new appointments will be based in Arma's London office in a bid to enhance the firm's deal origination and execution capabilities, as well as coverage of the media, internet and fintech sub-sectors.
Sokolowsky has been appointed as a partner at Arma and will work alongside Eric Lawson-Smith to lead the firm's media and internet practice. He was previously managing director and head of European media at Goldman Sachs. Prior to this, Sokolowsky was a vice-president in the media and communications group of Morgan Stanley in London. He began his career at Merrill Lynch, in London and Palo Alto.
Meanwhile, Nehmé joins Arma as a managing director focused on fintech, and will work alongside John Meehan, partner and head of the firm's fintech practice. Nehmé joins Arma from JP Morgan, where he led the European strategic investments team. In this role, he invested in and managed a portfolio of fintech companies. Prior to this, Nehmé worked as a banker within JP Morgan's financial institutions group and advised clients across Europe on M&A and capital markets transactions.
