Blackstone's Dowler joins Greenbrook
Blackstone managing director Andrew Dowler has joined Greenbrook Communications as partner.
Dowler will support Greenbrook's alternative investment activities, advising private equity, hedge fund, activist, credit and real asset clients.
Prior to joining Greenbrook, Dowler was managing director of external relations at the European division of global investment firm Blackstone, which he joined in 2013.
Dowler's appointment follows the recent hiring of Michelle Pinggera, former partner and international chief of staff at Goldman Sachs, as non-executive adviser to Greenbrook, joining Simon Walker, formerly director general of the institute of directors, and David Trenchard, formerly vice-chairman of Knight Vinke.
Greenbrook's list of PE clients is understood to include PAI Partners, EQT Partners, Triton Partners, Apax Partners, Montagu Private Equity, Oakley Capital Partners, TPG and Ambienta.
