HarbourVest to open Dublin office
Global private equity firm HarbourVest has announced that it will open an office in Dublin to minimise the impact of Brexit.
The $50bn asset manager said it will not reduce the size of its London office, but would have investment professionals in Dublin in case of disruption caused by Brexit.
HarbourVest said it will open the office once it receives its Irish AIFM licence.
The firm is headquartered in Boston, US, and employs more than 400 people across offices in Boston, London, Hong Kong, Seoul, Tel Aviv, Toronto, Beijing and Tokyo.
It has recently committed to European buyout funds including Steadfast Capital Fund IV, ECI 11 and HG Capital Mercury 2.
