Clearwater promotes Loudon to partner
Corporate finance house Clearwater International has promoted director Michael Loudon to partner in the north-west of England.
Loudon joined the firm from Gleacher Shacklock in 2016 and has since advised on transactions including the ESO Capital-backed buyout of Pyroguard, the LDC-backed buyout of ChargePoint Technology and the Equistone-backed buyout of WHP Telecoms.
During his time at Gleacher Shacklock, Loudon focused on transactions in the industrial, infrastructure and transport sectors.
Earlier this year, Clearwater promoted marketing director Natasha Eden to chief operating officer and appointed Canaccord Genuity's Richard O'Donnell as a partner in its London office. The firm won the corporate financier of the year award at the 2018 Unquote British Private Equity Awards earlier this month.
