Epiris appoints Macquarie's Xiao as IR associate

Epiris has appointed Macquarie Group's Cecilia Xiao as an associate in its investor relations team.
Xiao leaves her role as senior investment associate in the infrastructure and real assets division of Macquarie, where she focused on transport and utilities, after five and a half years with the firm.
Prior to joining Macquarie, Xiao spent two and a half years at UBS Investment Bank, leaving her position as an analyst in 2013.
The latest appointment by Epiris comes two months after the GP held a £821m final close for Epiris II, its first vehicle as an independent fund manager. Earlier this year, the firm appointed Pamela Brent as investment manager, and promoted investment partners Owen Wilson and Ian Wood to partners and members of the investment and management committees.
