
ICG hires Carlyle's Palmer as responsible investing officer

Intermediate Capital Group (ICG) has appointed Carlyle's Eimear Palmer as responsible investing officer.
In her new role, Palmer will oversee the integration of environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategies across ICG's funds, and will work alongside investment teams and portfolio companies.
Palmer leaves her role as associate vice-president at Carlyle after seven years with the firm, during which time she also focused on ESG-related activities.
Prior to joining Carlyle, she spent seven years at KPMG, leaving her position as trainee manager in 2011.
