Axon brings in Aberdeen's Gilmore as new partner

Gilmore, who joins the UK office, is expected to ramp up Axon's placement capabilities and secondary transaction services.

He joins from Aberdeen Standard Investments, where he spent 18 years, most recently as head of primary funds Europe, leading a team responsible for sourcing, executing and monitoring investments in European private equity funds.  

Prior to joining Aberdeen, Gilmore was an investment director at Murray Johnstone where he spent 10 years working on UK lower-mid-market buyout and growth capital transactions.
