HIG hires Pamplona's Noé-Nordberg as MD
HIG Capital has appointed Pamplona Capital Management's Markus NoУЉ-Nordberg as managing director and head of European mid-market private equity.
The development follows the firm's change in investment strategy in Europe. It had previously focused on transactions in the small- and lower-mid-cap range, but will now also consider deals for businesses with enterprise values in the €250-750m bracket.
Noé-Nordberg leaves his role as partner at Pamplona after 14 years, having been one of the firm's founding members.
Prior to joining Pamplona, he spent six years at Goldman Sachs' London office, leaving his role as managing director and co-head of the financial sponsors group in 2005.
