Adams Street hires de Beau for primary investments team
Adams Street Partners, the $35bn private markets investment management firm, has appointed Mattias de Beau to serve as a partner within the primary investments team, effective from January.
His responsibilities include managing private equity fund manager relationships throughout Europe, sourcing investment opportunities, and conducting due diligence.
He replaces Arnaud de Cremiers, who joined Oakley Capital in November 2018.
The primary investment team at Adams Street comprises 28 investment professionals and the firm has no immediate plans to expand it further, a spokesperson told Unquote.
Based in London, de Beau reports to Sergey Sheshuryak, a partner on the primary investments team.
Prior to Adams Street Partners, de Beau was at StepStone Group, where he co-headed EMEA investment activities covering primary, secondary and co-investment opportunities. He has also worked for Greenpark Capital and Lehman Brothers.
Adams Street Partners has recently committed to G Square Capital III, Investindustrial Growth Fund, and Waterland Private Equity Fund VII.
