Synova hires Sovereign's Jain, appoints two more
Synova Capital has made three appointments, including the recruitment of Sovereign Capital's Sunil Jain as investment director.
The firm has also appointed Alantra's Mike Mullally as investment manager and Emily Bullman, formerly of HSBC, as investment executive.
Jain leaves his role as director at Sovereign after seven years with the firm, during which he specialised in the financial services, financial technology, business services, healthcare and education sectors. Prior to joining Sovereign, he spent a year and a half as an investment manager at Blenheim Chalcot and five years in the London and New York financial services consulting teams at Oliver Wyman.
Mullally joins Synova after three years at Alantra, during which he focused on mid-market M&A across a number of sectors including healthcare and education.
Bullman spent four years at HSBC after joining as a graduate in 2014. During her time with the firm she spent three years on the leveraged finance team, working on mid-market private equity transactions.
