Intermediate Capital Group (ICG) has appointed Cerberus Capital's Alan Ross as managing director in its special situations investment team.
Ross leaves his role as senior vice-president at Cerberus after 11 years with the firm, where he specialised in the sourcing and execution of credit, special situations and distressed debt transactions.
Prior to joining Cerberus, Ross worked on the leverage and acquisition finance teams at UBS and ABN-Amro.
ICG said it is positioning itself for future opportunities as the "global economic cycle is becoming more advanced".
The latest appointment comes one month after the GP hired Carlyle Group's Zeina Bain as managing director in its European subordinated debt and equity team.
