Ventiga seeks €275m for fund II
Ventiga Capital Partners has launched its first external fundraise with a €275m target, Unquote understands.
The firm's first "fund" was a co-investment partnership with LGT Capital Partners, which made four deals across the UK and the Nordic region.
Ventiga was founded by Daniel Mytnik (formerly of Palamon Capital Partners) and Niclas Gabrán (formerly of Towerbrook Capital Partners) in 2015.
With LGT's support, it has completed one acquisition in the UK (asset manager Thesis), one in Sweden (restaurant operator Nordic Services) and one in Denmark (airfare data firm Infare Solutions).
It will continue targeting acquisitions of mid-market companies in the UK and the Nordic region with the new vehicle. It expects to make around eight investments from the fund in total.
Proskauer Rose is understood to be providing fund structuring advice.
Ventiga and LGT declined to comment on the situation; Proskauer did not respond to a request for comment.
