
Caledonia hires Lane on its private investment team
Caledonia Investments has hired Toby Lane as an investment executive on its unquoted private investments team.
Lane joins from Lazard, where he worked in M&A specialising in real estate. Previously, he trained as a chartered accountant at PwC.
Caledonia's unquoted team is the largest of its four investment teams, with around 10 investment professionals. It participates in majority buyouts, development capital and structured equity transactions, with a focus on UK-based companies. The team invests £25-125m per company.
