Rede promotes Widegren to partner

Global placement agent and secondaries adviser Rede Partners has announced the promotion of principal Kristina Widegren to partner.
Widegren will be the third partner at the firm, joining co-founders Adam Turtle and Scott Church. Turtle said in a statement that it is the first time the partnership has been opened up since 2011.
In her new role, Widegren will be responsible for leading European investor coverage and will also play a role in client relationships.
Prior to joining Rede in 2013, Widegren was an investor relations director at buyout firm Palamon Capital Partners. Before Palamon, she had a brief stint at Nomura and spent seven years at Lehman Brothers in ECM.
Rede now employs 60 people in London and New York, and has advised on primary capital raising of €25bn and GP-led restructuring volumes of €2bn.
