Paul Hastings hires two partners from Hogan Lovells
Paul Hastings has hired Ed Harris and Leanne Moezi as partners in its private equity team in London.
Harris currently leads Hogan Lovell's private equity practice in London, where he represented private equity firms including Pantheon, Investindustrial and EQT Partners. Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Harris was a partner at SJ Berwin and a senior associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.
Moezi started her career as a trainee solicitor at King & Wood Mallesons where she then became an associate. She then moved to Hogan Lovells as a senior associate. She is now counsel at the firm. Moezi also worked with Pantheon, including on the 2010 acquisition of a portion of portfolio company interests owned by Candover Investments as part of the spin-out of Arle Capital.
Paul Hastings has also appointed Hogan Lovell's Adam Brown to the position of partner in its Washington DC office. This announcement follows Anu Balasubramanian's appointment to the private equity team in London in 2018.
Paul Hastings' private equity practice advised on more than 150 deals in 2018 and counts Abry Partners, Oakley Capital and Astorg as clients.
