NVM hires PwC's Wildig as investment manager
NVM Private Equity has appointed PwC's Oliver Wildig as investment manager in its Manchester-based buyout team.
In his new role, Wildig will be responsible for deal sourcing and execution, in addition to portfolio management.
The development comes eight months after it held a final close for its maiden institutionally backed vehicle, NVM Private Equity Vintage III, on £142m.
Wildig leaves his role on the corporate finance team at PwC after eight years with the firm. He joined the business in 2011 as a senior associate on the assurance team, before qualifying as a chartered accountant and moving into the corporate finance team in 2015.
During his spell at PwC, Wildig advised on buy-side and sell-side transactions including deals for Platinum Stairlifts, MJ Quinn's telecoms division and Bollington Wilson Group.
