Pantheon hires Eggleston and Berke
Asset manager Pantheon Ventures has hired John Eggleston as partner and chief technology officer, and Richard Berke as global head of recruitment, a new position.
Eggleston has oversight responsibility for core technology infrastructure, information security and systems development at Pantheon.
His technology career stretches back to 1996. Eggleston was a co-founder and the chief information officer of UK-based Callcredit, which was acquired by US-based TransUnion for over $1bn last year.
He joined BGF in 2011, where he was a member of the executive & investment committees. During his time at BGF he led the TMT investment group and was a non-exec director on several boards.
Berke brings nearly two decades of financial services recruitment experience with him, most recently from Insight Investment, where he was head of resourcing. The position if global head of recruitment was required seen that Pantheon has recruited over 125 new permanent professionals across its global teams through 2018 and 2019 to date, according to a statement.
