Rede appoints Goodlad as head of transactions

Placement agent Rede Partners has appointed Magnus Goodlad as head of transactions.
Goodlad started in his new position on 6 January 2020; his focus is on assisting in GP-led secondaries transactions.
He joins from his position as chief of staff to Lord Rothschild, in which he was responsible for the private equity and venture capital investment programmes for the Rothschild family. He was also previously a partner in renewable energy for Hermes GPE and has worked at Top Technology Ventures, IP Group, and Slaughter and May.
Goodlad will replace Yaron Zafir, who has stepped down from his role and will now act as senior adviser to the firm.
Rede worked on GP-led transactions such as MTN Group's exit from Amadeus Capital Partners' Digital Prosperity Fund I, selling its interest to HarbourVest Partners. The firm claims to have a transaction volume of €4bn in GP-led secondaries transactions.
