Atomico promotes Haivas to partner
Venture capital investor Atomico has promoted principal Irina Haivas to partner.
While at the firm, Haivas has led investments such as HealX, Accurx and Kheiron Medical Technologies.
Haivas joined Atomico after working at healthcare-focused investor GHO Capital Partners. Prior to that, she held positions at Bain & Co in Europe and the US, and at medical engineering company Medtronic.
The VC is currently investing from Atomico IV, which closed on $765m in February 2017. It is also raising capital for Atomico V, which was launched in December 2018.
In March 2019, Atomico hired Bryce Keane as head of communications, Alison Smith as chief of staff, and Camilla Richards as head of investor relations, while partner Mattias Ljungman opted to leave the company in July 2019 to start his own seed fund.
