Mayfair hires Price from Lloyds Bank
Mayfair Equity Partners had hired Neil Price as managing director.
Price will be part of the investment team at the firm.
He joins from Lloyds Bank, where he was head of strategic debt finance and capital structure advisory. He was also a member of the investment and commercial banking credit committees at the bank.
Mayfair was founded in 2014 when Daniel Sasaki left his role as head of LDC's London office to set up his own firm. The new GP subsequently hired a host of LDC's London-based investment directors, including Waqqas Ahmad, Bertie Aykroyd, Kunal Dasgupta and Maria Carradice. During 2019, Mayfair hired seven team members and promoted two.
The firm plans to expand its headcount, according to a statement. It is currently investing from its Mayfair Equity Partners II fund, which closed on £650m in January 2019.
