CMS's Grimwood joins Goodwin
James Grimwood has joined Goodwin Procter from CMS.
Grimwood joins the firm from his position as partner and head of private equity at CMS in London. He joined the firm in 1997. While at CMS, Grimwood worked for a number of private equity firms such as LDC, Mayfair Equity Partners and Risk Capital Partners, as well as for companies such as Graze on its sale to The Carlyle Group.
In 2019, Goodwin hired several partners in its private equity practice, including Gregor Klenk in Frankfurt and Carl Bradshaw in London.
The firm employs 60 corporate, fund formation, finance regulatory, tax and technology private equity lawyers at its offices in London.
