
Hg promotes Sanow to partner
Software-focused investor Hg has promoted Martina Sanow to partner.
Sanow will retain her position as the firm's deputy chief operating officer. She will also continue to sit on the firm's valuation committee and act as a member of the client services team, where she focuses on fundraising and ongoing investor coverage. She has been involved in the Hg 6, Hg 7, Hg 8, Saturn, Mercury 1 and Mercury 2 fundraisings.
Sanow joined Hg in 2009 from Citigroup, where she worked on a number of capital markets and private equity transactions as part of the Nordic mergers and acquisitions team.
Hg is currently fundraising for Hg Genesis 9, which held a first close on €3bn in March 2020, and Hg Saturn 2, which held a close on $4bn in March 2020.
