IK hires Aoun as head of capital markets
IK Investment Partners has hired Thierry Aoun as a director and head of capital markets.
Aoun will join the firm's London office and will be responsible for new acquisition financing and capital market activities for IK's portfolio companies. The appointment is part of the firm's efforts to strengthen its approach to debt in existing portfolio companies and new investments, according to a statement.
Aoun joins IK from KKR, where he was a principal focusing on private credit and capital markets activities. Prior to KKR, he worked at JP Morgan, where he worked on leveraged loans and high-yield transactions for private equity and corporate clients.
IK is currently investing from a series of funds including IK VIII, which closed on €1.85bn in November 2016.
