Guernsey Finance launches fast-track applications for managers
Guernsey Finance has launched a fast-track application scheme for fund managers to migrate their vehicles to Guernsey, formed with input from the Guernsey Investment and Funds Association (GIFA).
The programme offers the managers of Overseas Collective Investment Schemes (funds currently domiciled in non-whitelisted jurisdictions) to apply for a Guernsey licence, meaning they will operate in line with the standars of the EU and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
The applications will be based on declarations from a licensed administrator, and are offered for vehicles including registered and private investment funds.
The scheme will be in line with the organisations other fast-track offerings, according to a statement, and aims to anticipate the needs of potential GIFA clients.
