Goodwin hires team of five partners
Goodwin has hired a team of five partners in the firm's private equity practice in London.
Erik Dahl, Christian Iwasko, Sava Savov, Michelle Tong and John Van De North most recently practiced together at Sidley Austin, where Dahl served as co-leader of the firm's PE practice area and Iwasko was co-head of the European corporate and PE group. Dahl and Iwasko will start at Goodwin on 1 October, while Savov, Tong and Van De North will join following the completion of their notice periods.
The five lawyers were originally part of a team hired from Kirkland & Ellis's London office in April 2016.
The hires follow the recent appointment of partners Carl Bradshaw and James Grimwood to the team. Goodwin now has more than 120 PE lawyers across its London, Frankfurt and Paris offices, and opened a private investment funds-focused office in Luxembourg in 2019.
