
BGF appoints Isherwood and Strang to board

BGF has appointed Kris Isherwood and Jim Strang as non-executive directors to its board.
The appointments will be effective as of January 2021.
Kris Isherwood is currently CFO of Eight Roads, the investment arm of Fidelity International, which focuses on venture capital, healthcare and technology. Prior to this, Isherwood was the group CFO for Fidelity for almost 10 years, and also acted as CFO for a UK-based life insurer and was a director at KPMG.
Jim Strang, currently a managing director and EMEA chairman of Hamilton Lane, is also a non-executive director and chairman of the board at Hg Capital Trust, as well as a senior adviser to the private equity group at Bain & Co and a teaching fellow at London Business School. Before joining Hamilton Lane, Strang was a director at Dunedin and also served as a founding team member and head of European buyouts at Gartmore Private Equity, which is now known as Hermes GPE.
