
Bridges establishes office in Manchester, hires Braham
Bridges has established a new office in Manchester and hired Simon Braham to build up its team.
Joining from LDC, Braham will become a partner in the firm's Sustainable Growth Funds. Based in Manchester, he will be responsible for leading investments in impact growth businesses across the north of England.
Prior to LDC, Braham held positions at JP Morgan and KPMG.
Bridges has previously backed a number of businesses in the north of England. Its current investments include GEV, a wind turbine repair business based in Hull; and the Ethical Housing Company, a landlord on Teesside. Its investor base also includes a number of local authority pension funds in the region.
The firm focus on companies with ESG-related impact, and revenues of £5-50m, investing £2-20m in equity to help them execute organic growth, as well as buy-and-build or multi-site roll out strategies.
