Arbour leaves Palamon for ICG
Intermediate Capital Group (ICG) has hired Philippe Arbour as a managing director for its senior debt partners strategy.
Arbour will be part of the senior debt partners team and will be involved in furthering the development of sponsor coverage, as well as origination and execution in the UK market and other European geographies.
Arbour joined Palamon in 2013 from Lloyds Banking Group, where he spent 10 years working across a variety of roles in trade finance, specialist credit and leveraged finance. He was promoted to partner at Palamon in early 2019 and had specific responsibility for leading all financings and debt capital markets work.
Palamon European Equity IV was expected to launch in 2018. The fund was registered and is domiciled in Luxembourg. Its €402m predecessor was 60% deployed as of July 2017, according to Unquote Data.
