Eight Roads promotes Cornet to partner

Cornet is focused on software and financial technology sectors, and has led a number of investments for the firm, including Spendesk, a Paris-based spend management platform; Thinksurance, a Frankfurt-based B2B insurance technology company; and Compte-Nickel, a digital bank, which BNP Paribas acquired in 2017. She is on the boards of VIU Eyewear, OTA Insight and Fuse Universal.

Cornet joined the firm as an associate in 2016. She started her career at Merrill Lynch as an analyst and later joined Moelis & Company in the same position. She joined Summit Partners as an associate in 2012 before joining Eight Roads.
