
Piper promotes Stern

Piper has promoted Dan Stern to partner.
Stern led on the recent sale of Proper and on investments such as Neom, Wattbike and The Thinking Traveller. He joined the firm in 2013 from 3i as an investment director.
Piper has also appointed Harry Williams to the team. Having joined from Oakley Advisory, where he spent three years providing corporate finance advice on mid-market M&A transactions, he will be responsible for sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities, as well as supporting the investment and due diligence process.
The firm is expected to launch its next fund in 2021. The firm's latest fund closed on £125m in October 2016.
