Investcorp appoints Kohli as head of European IR management
Investcorp has appointed Sanjay Kohli as head of European investor relationship management.
In this newly created role, Kohli will be responsible for Investcorp's investor relationship management, execution and strategy, with the aim of meeting its clients' needs across Europe.
He will report to Timothy Mattar, Investcorp's global head of distribution.
Kohli joined Investcorp in 2017 as a senior director with responsibility for overseeing Investcorp's offerings across key European markets, including the UK and the Nordic region.
Prior to this, he was a co-founder at 3i Debt Management, the predecessor to Investcorp Credit Management, following the acquisition of Mizuho Investment Management (MIM) from Mizuho Corporate Bank.
While at MIM, he was responsible for investors and new business opportunities in India, the Middle East and South-east Asia.
Previously, Kohli held responsibility for syndicated loans and M&A across EMEA and India for Mizuho Corporate Bank.
Investcorp is a global investment manager, specialising in alternative investments across private equity, real estate, credit, absolute return strategies, GP stakes and infrastructure. Employing 430 staff, the firm has a presence in 12 countries worldwide and manages $35bn of assets.
