Apposite Capital announces new appointments
Healthcare specialist private equity investor Apposite Capital has announced a series of appointments and promotions in its team.
The PE firm has hired John Morley as talent and human capital director. Morley previously worked as a global head of talent acquisition for ConvaTec, Vertex and AstraZeneca before setting up his own company, JDM Talent.
Morley will be responsible for enhancing the GP's talent pool, and its diversity and inclusion programmes, as well as adding value to its portfolio companies on a range of topics from employee retention to employer branding.
The firm has also appointed Christian Schenk and Sahil Shah to the roles of investment manager and investment executive, respectively. They will be involved in all aspects of deal investing in the UK and Europe. Schenk, who is a German native speaker, will be responsible for strengthening the GP's deal-sourcing and execution capabilities in continental Europe.
At the same time, Lauren Edison has been promoted to the position of investment manager. She joined the company in 2018 and is responsible for sourcing and executing investments across Europe.
Established in 2016, Apposite is a small-cap investor focused on companies operating in health and social care, medical products and technology, pharmaceuticals and digital health.
