Bridges appoints ex-ICG CEO as new chair
Bridges Fund Management has appointed Christophe Evain as non-executive chair and Clive Sherling as non-executive director.
Evain is the former CEO of Intermediate Capital Group (ICG). After starting his career in banking, Evain joined ICG in 1994; he was then appointed as ICG's group managing director in 2004, as chief investment officer in 2008, and served as chief executive from 2010 to 2017. He is also a non-executive director of Landsec, a UK-listed property business.
Sherling was the chief operating officer at Apax Partners until retiring in 2004, having previously been a partner at Arthur Andersen. He is also a former chair of the British Venture Capital Association and a former vice-chair of Wembley Stadium Limited. Sherling has advised and been an investor in Bridges funds for several years, according to a statement.
