
Earth Capital appoints new CEO

Earth Capital, a sustainability-focused private equity group, has appointed Phil Culver Evans as chief executive.
Culver Evans will move from his current role as CFO and take over Earth Capital's CEO responsibilities from Gordon Power, who remains chief investment officer.
Culver Evans joined Earth Capital in 2017. Prior to that, he held senior executive posts at several businesses including Robert Walters, Huntsworth and College Hill. He has also spent several years managing a portfolio of companies and investments, notably growing and selling a small care home group.
Earth Capital is a global investment group co-founded by Gordon Power and Stephen Lansdown, co-founder of Hargreaves Lansdown. The group managers, including Berkeley Energy, are responsible for more than USD 1.7bn in sustainable and impact-focused private markets investments. Earth Capital invests globally in companies and infrastructure that address the challenges of sustainable development such as climate change and energy, food and water security. Investment sectors include energy efficiency, energy generation, clean industry, agriculture, waste and water.
