Bridges hires Sarma for Evergreen fund
Bridges Fund Management has appointed Eva Sarma as an investment director for Bridges Evergreen, the firm's long-term capital vehicle.
Sarma was most recently chief operating officer and company secretary of Level 20, a not-for-profit organisation promoting gender diversity in the private equity industry.
She also spent 11 years at 3i, most recently as a director in the UK PE team.
Evergreen is Bridges' first long-term, impact-focused equity fund. Launched in 2016, it seeks to partner with businesses that are helping to solve pressing social and environmental challenges.
Recent investments by Bridges include AgilityEco, which provides energy-efficiency measures to help households in fuel poverty; and Skills Training UK, which provides employer-focused skills training for young people and adults.
