
Cairngorm appoints three to investment team
Cairngorm Capital has announced the appointment of Adam Watson, Sheena Pattni and George Buckle to its investment team.
Pattni joins Cairngorm as an investment manager, prior to which she focused on TMT, pharmaceutical and environmental investments at Charterhouse Capital Partners. She was a member of the ESG board at Charterhouse and is expected to bring ESG insights to her new role with Cairngorm, according to a statement. She has previous experience with the M&A team at Perella Weinberg Partners.
Adam Watson, Cairngorm Capital
Watson takes up the role of investment manager from his role in the advisory team at HSBC in London and Sydney, prior to which he was an analyst at Ingenious Corporate Finance. He has experience in sectors including healthcare, consumer and industrials.
George Buckle, Cairngorm Capital
Buckle has joined Cairngorm as an investment associate. He previously held roles in audit and transaction services with PwC, and also completed a secondment with Hamilton Bradshaw in Hong Kong.
The appointments follow the GBP 200m final close of Cairngorm Capital III in August 2021. The fund invests in UK-based mid-market companies, focusing on the manufacturing, distribution and services sectors.
